A popular Arabic name in the UK

According to British agencies, the most common name in the UK today is Muhammad. It has even surpassed popular British names like Jack, Daniel, and Thomas. For example, in 2009, 1,800 babies born in London were named Muhammad, while only 800 were named Daniel. Interestingly, the name Muhammad is also popular in other European countries, including Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium. Experts attribute this widespread popularity to the recent migration of people from Arab countries to Europe.
