At all school events, Anvar would play the doira while simultaneously singing, and he frequently won honorable places in school and district-level events and competitions.
It would be accurate to say he worked in this direction until 1999. After finishing school, he studied in the traditional performance department of the M. Kharratov Urgench Music College.
From 2007 to 2011, the singer studied at the Faculty of Social and Cultural Activities of the A. Qodiriy Tashkent State Institute of Culture. From his student years, Anvar Sobirov worked as a collaborative doira player, singing alongside prominent traditional singers (hafiz).
In the pop genre, he released the song "Voha-voha" in 2002, which became a hit. Subsequent hits included the songs "Rotalla", "Seni sevdim", "Xayr", and "Muhabbat".
To date, the singer has presented his fans with nearly 75 songs, over 30 music videos, and the albums "Sog'inch", "Kechalar", "Seni sevdim", "Muhabbatimsan", and "Jiyda guli". He held his first concert on December 16-17, 2005, at the "Istiqlol" Palace with the concert program "Orzular og'ushida", and on June 3-7, 2011, he presented the concert program "Ko'zimga tuproq Vatan tuprog'i" at the "Istiqlol" Palace to his fans.
