Hilola Hamidova was born on September 13th, under the sign of Virgo, into an intellectual family in the city of Andijan during the golden autumn season. From a young age, she had a high passion for national music and songs. Along with her school studies, Hilola began learning the secrets of the dutar at a music school. At the age of 16, as she was graduating from school, she was selected as a member of a group of girl dutar players for the "Uzbekistan My Homeland" competition, which was to be held in the capital. For this competition, her mentor, Rasuljon Samiyev, prepared a group of girls and children to sing national songs. At that time, the girls' group was missing one member, and Hilola Hamidova was selected as the candidate for that spot. In the competition, Hilola Hamidova perfectly learned and performed the aria "Ey Sabr," originally performed by Habiba Oxunova. The singer entered the "Traditional Performance" faculty of the Andijan State Art College in 1995. Later, she also graduated from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. To date, Hilola Hamidova has presented more than 50 songs, 20 music videos, and an album titled "Ko'zimda sog'inch" (Longing in My Eyes) to her fans.
