Theater and film actor Xusan Sharipov was born in Tashkent in 1937. In 1963, he graduated from the acting faculty of the Tashkent Institute of Theater and Fine Arts named after A. Ostrovsky (now the Tashkent State Institute of Arts named after M. Uygur). H. Sharipov worked as an actor at the Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater named after Muqimiy from 1959 to 1991.
Without leaving his main job, he worked as a pedagogue at the Tashkent Institute of Theater and Fine Arts from 1980 to 1985. He served as the director of the Muqimiy Theater from 1985 to 1988, as a master of artistic speech at the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan from 1990 to 1995, and as a secretary of the Theater Workers' Union of Uzbekistan from 1995.
During his thirty-year career at the Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater named after Muqimiy, X. Sharipov created nearly fifty diverse characters of various temperaments. The Boy in the play "Muqimiy," Toshbolta in "Toshbolta Oshiq," Shum Bola in "Shum Bola," Qodir in "Eternity," Abdusamat and Xushmamat in "Love for the Motherland," Asatullo in the play "Saint Who Brought Water," Po'lat in the comedy "My Wife's Husband," Tojivoy in "The Stubborn Ones," Hasan in "Dear Girls," Akop in "Khanuma," Husniddin in the musical drama "The Simpleton," and Abdulla in "Brothers Matchmakers" are the products of H. Sharipov's creative work.
