Jahongir Otajonov was born on September 29, 1978, in Khorezm into a family of artists. After learning the secrets of music from his uncle, Ortiq Otjonov, the singer attended the Glier Music School in the capital starting from the 1st grade. After school, he graduated from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. Jahongir Otajonov gained popularity among his fans with hit tracks like "Arazlamang", "Oq kabutarlar", and "Dog'man". Currently, the singer has nearly 100 songs, more than 25 music videos, and 3 albums. The albums are: "Jonim", "O'zbekiston sening o'g'lingman", and "Sog'indim".
