Activities
Yashin's first dramatic work, «Ikki kommunist» (Two Communists), was staged in 1929. During the period of collectivization, he wrote the plays «O‘rtoqlar» (Comrades, 1930) and «Yondiramiz» (We Burn, 1931). His stage works such as «Nomus va muhabbat» (Honor and Love, 1935) and «Hamza» (in collaboration with A. Umariy, 1940) are among the best examples of Uzbek dramaturgy before the Second World War.

Yashin's plays «Gulsara» (1934) and «Nurxon» (1940) were characteristic stage works for their time.

In the works created by Komil Yashin during the war, feelings of affection and love for friends, and anger and rage towards enemies shine through. This spirit is imbued in his dramas «O‘lim bosqinchilarga» (Death to the Invaders, 1942), «Oftobxon» (1944), and «Davron ota» (1942, written with Uyg‘un, Sobir Abdulla, and Chustiy). In the drama «General Rahimov» (1949), the heroism displayed by the first Uzbek general, Sobir Rahimov, during the Second World War is reflected.

In the drama «Inqilob tongi» (Dawn of the Revolution), written by the writer in 1974, the image of Fayzulla Xo‘jayev, a mature son of our people and a renowned statesman, was portrayed.
In the later years of his life, Yashin created the novel «Hamza». One of his last works is the book «Yodnoma» (Memoirs).
