Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva is a masterful performer of Uzbek classical songs. Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva was awarded the title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan" in 1994 and the "El-yurt hurmati" order in 1998. The masterful performer of Uzbek classical songs, Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva, was born in 1960 in the village of Shirmonbuloq, located in the Xo‘jaobod district of the Andijan region. Between 1978 and 1980, she studied at the preparatory department for Eastern music at the Tashkent State Conservatory, and in 1985, she graduated from the traditional vocal department of the Eastern Music Faculty of the Tashkent State Conservatory. On February 9, 1980, under the guidance of her mentor Shavkat Mirzayev, she participated in the "Nazm va navo" program, prepared by the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Uzbekistan in honor of the 539th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoiy. She performed the songs "Munojot" and "Ushshoq," through which she gained national recognition and was subsequently invited to join the Maqom ensemble under the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Uzbekistan. She served as a solo singer in the Maqom ensemble until 1982, and since 1982, she has been working as a solo singer at the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan.

Primarily following the path of performing maqom songs, the singer quickly captured the attention of the broad public with her enchanting performances. In addition to a beautiful and pleasant voice, her repertoire features maqom songs performed with great preparation, such as "Sarahbori navo," "Sarahbori Dugoh," "Ushshoq," "Dugohi Husayniy," "Chorgoh," "Safti Chorgoh," "Bayoti Sheroziy talqinchasi," and "Girya"; great songs such as "Ey, dilbari jononim" and "Farg‘onacha Shahnoz"; folk songs such as "O‘lturg‘usi," "Dasht-navo," "G‘uncha yanglig‘," "Tanovar," and "Izlayman"; as well as "Mehnat ahli," "Aylading," "Nihon etdi," "Bul ajab," "Kim keyin - kim ilgari," "La’li Yaman," and many other masterpieces that have secured a firm place in Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva’s repertoire.

This is why the singer's soul-stirring melodies have captivated not only our own people but also art enthusiasts in countries where she has toured, including America, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Hong Kong, Brazil, Italy, Norway, Morocco, and many others.

As the singer herself admits, even foreign art connoisseurs who deeply appreciate good music and song and are accustomed to finding solace in them have welcomed her Uzbek classical songs with sincerity and listened to them with great delight. In this historic era, as Uzbekistan turns toward the world thanks to the blessing of independence, M. Yo‘lchiyeva and other talented singers like her have gained the opportunity to go on concert tours to foreign countries. With their art, they have earned the acclaim of global audiences, widely promoting the rare masterpieces of Uzbek classical music and vocal art among the peoples of the world and showcasing our ancient art and spirituality.

In 1991, the "Asia Society" in America released an audio cassette of songs performed by Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva and musician Turg‘un Alimatov; in 1995, the French firm "Ocora" released a compact disc featuring Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva's songs; and in 1998, the "Network" firm in Germany released the singer's second disc. All of these are symbols of the great respect and honor that foreign art enthusiasts have for this talented Uzbek singer.

Munojat Yo‘lchiyeva is an artist who has achieved her dreams during the era of independence. She was awarded the title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan" in 1994 and the "El-yurt hurmati" order in 1998.
