Nigora Abduvahobovna Ismoilova was born on September 12, 1988, in the city of Tashkent into a working-class family. The family consists of her parents, three older sisters, and a younger brother. By the time she turned 3, she started attending kindergarten, and in 1995, she entered the first grade of School No. 179. Although she was not exactly an honor student at school, she was very interested in participating in holiday events.

At that time, a non-traditional children's singing competition was held, led by Fatima and Zukhra Ziyomuhamedova. The competition was unique in that, alongside healthy children, visually impaired and disabled children could also test their talents. Naturally, due to her strong interest in music, she participated in the competition. She was lucky and became a winner. Subsequently, a choir was formed from the selected group of children and named "Uz bell." She learned the secrets of singing in every group. This is also where she met Ziyoda.

In 2004, after finishing school, she was admitted to the Republican Music College named after Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy based on an entrance exam. While she was in her second year, the "Akfa Media" production center opened, and a competition was held among young people interested in solo singing. Participants included Oybek and Ziyoda. Luck smiled again, and Nigora, Ziyoda, and Oybek were the winners. After that, she began her creative work at "Akfa Media." A song was written for Nigora, but it had to be performed as a duet. Her duet partner turned out to be Oybek.

The first duet song she sang with Oybek, "Izlayman," was well-received by many. After that, the management suggested creating another duet song, and the song titled "Sen uchun" was born. In turn, a music video was filmed for it and presented to the public. In a short time, the song became popular and climbed to the top of the hit parades. Since then, they began to be recognized as the Oybek and Nigora duet group.

Oybek and Nigora have achieved many awards. These include various letters of gratitude, honorary certificates, the "Discovery of the Year" nomination in 2006, and most importantly, they were awarded the "Nihol" State Prize in 2008.
