Biography

Normurod Norqobilov was born on July 7, 1953, in the village of Qishliq in the Yakkabog district of the Qashqadaryo region.

Normurod Norqobilov graduated from the Hamid Olimjon secondary school in 1970.

Then, from 1976 to 1982, he studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Tashkent State University.

Following the motto that one must study life to become a writer, he worked as a locksmith in factories, a wagon repairman in railway depots, and a cargo loader at stations, interacting closely with people of various categories and studying their character traits and worldviews.

Normurod Norqobilov's works have been included in Uzbek, Kazakh, Karakalpak, and Kyrgyz language textbooks and have been translated into several languages.

He was awarded the "Shuhrat" medal.

More or less, what he learned in this way has found its way into his works.

Later, he became a devotee of nature, traveling step by step through many of the mountains, hills, and steppes of Uzbekistan.

Consequently, several of his works related to the animal world emerged.

Novellas such as "Changalzor iti", "Oqbo'yin", "Tog' odami", "Paxmoq", and "Ovul oralagan bo'ri" belong to these.

What is happiness? And what is life? What is the support of life? What are the forms and shapes of unhappiness? In general, does unhappiness have a color? As a human child lives wandering between these two poles, striving from one to the other, they are always looking for their own self. Isn't that which is being sought love? Isn't it the self? You will find answers to such questions in the works of Normurod Norqobilov.

To date, the writer has published over ten books.

"Unutilgan qo'shiq", "Zangori ko'l", "Yuzma-yuz", "Temur g'ori", "Paxmoq", "Arazchi chumchuq", "Sariqgul", "Jo'shqin daryo", and "Bekatdagi oq uycha" are among them.
