The beautiful and unique Zilola Musayeva, performing under the stage name Shahzoda, was born in 1979 in the city of Fergana into a family of a philologist and a doctor of philosophical sciences. She began living with music from childhood. She lived in Moscow until the age of 9. Then she returned to Tashkent and began her creative career. From her school years, Zilola practiced vocals.

Upon entering university, she was a soloist for the group "Jonim," and it was with this group that her first album was recorded under the initiative of the renowned composer Vagif Zokirov.

From 2001, Shahzoda continued her creative work with the record company "Tarona Records."

In 2003, the singer presented her first solo concert to her fans. She was greeted with great applause during her concert tours in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and even in the CIS countries, the Caucasus, and Transcaucasia.

The singer was able to present her albums titled "Bor ekan," "Baxt bo'ladi," "Keragimsan," "Baxtliman," and "Assalomu Aleykum" to her fans. Shahzoda not only captured the hearts of fans by singing but also performed lead roles masterfully in more than 10 films, such as "Fotima va Zuhra," "Majruh," "Sevinch," "Layli va Majnun," "Sarvinoz," and "Zumrad va Qimmat." Shahzoda has also been the recipient of several awards. In 2003, at the Tarona presentation, she won the "Best Singer of the Year" nomination, followed by "Album of the Year" in 2004, and the "Song of the Year" nomination in 2005 for the song "Keragimsan."
