Born in 1866 in the city of Andijan.

From the age of 7, he worked as a tightrope walker with his father, participating in village streets and folk festivals.

In 1884, he continued his father's profession.

In 1908, he participated in a competition for Central Asian artists and was awarded a gold medal and a commemorative gift.

Between 1925 and 1930, he worked in many private circuses in Central Asia.

From 1930, he worked in Soviet State circuses.

In 1935, in the city of Leningrad, under the leadership of Toshkentboy Egamberdiyev, the first traditional Uzbek tightrope walker attraction was established.

In 1937, he was awarded the title of "Veteran of Labor".

During the years of the Second World War, Toshkentboy Egamberdiyev and his group of tightrope walkers performed for the builders of the North Tashkent Canal, the Farkhad Hydroelectric Power Station, and the Fergana Hydroelectric Power Station, as well as in hospitals for those wounded in the war.

In 1942, under the leadership of Toshkentboy Egamberdiyev, the "Uzbek Traditional Circus Troupe" was formed, which he led until 1949.

From 1950 to 1956, Toshkentboy Egamberdiyev was the artistic director at Uzbekgostsirk.

In 1951, he was a participant in the Decade of Uzbek Literature and Art in Moscow.

In 1956, at the age of 90, Toshkentboy Egamberdiyev retired.

He passed away in 1963 at the age of 97.
